Black Shark 2 Pro launches
Xiaomi has launched the gaming-centric Black Shark 2 Pro smartphone in China at a starting cost of CNY 2,999.
The key features of the gaming-centric handset incorporate Full-HD+ AMOLED display, Liquid Cooling 3.0+ innovation, 4,000mAh battery, and first-rate internals include a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor.
Dark Shark 2 Pro: Initially (Design and Display)
Dark Shark 2 Pro sports a rectangular regular display with prominent bezels. On the backside, the device houses dual cameras, a backlit company logo, and RGB LED stripes encompassing it.
As far as the display, the handset offers a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display (1080*2340 pixels) resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 240Hz touch-sensing rate, and DC Dimming 2.0 for a gleam free experience.
Black Shark 2 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup
The Black Shark 2 Pro sports a dual rear camera setup involving a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor and 12MP (f/2.2) telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom.
For selfie, the handset offers a 20MP (f/2.0) snapper.
Additionally, the main camera bolsters 4K video recording at up to 60fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p recordings at 30fps.
Black Shark 2 Pro powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor
The Black Shark 2 Pro is fueled by best in class Snapdragon 855 Plus Octa-core processor, combined with 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 capacity.
Inside, the device runs Android Pie OS and is supported by a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging innovation.
Besides, it packs every single standard sensor and connectivity options including support for dual nano-SIM, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C port.
Black Shark 2 Pro: Pricing and pre-booking
In China, the Black Shark 2 Pro costs CNY 2,999 for entry-level 12GB/128GB model and CNY 3,499 for the top model with 12GB/256GB design.
The pre-bookings for the smartphone are in progress and it will go on sale starting August 2.
