Honor 20s and Honor Play 3 launches

Huawei's sub-BRAND Honor has launched the new 20 and Play 3 smartphones in China.

The Honor 20s to available for anyone starting today, while the Honor Play will go sale from September 17.

Concerning key features, the two handsets include a punch-hole design, all-glass body, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals.

Honor 20s and Honor Play 3: Initially

The Honor 20s and Play 3 get an edge-to-edge look with a small display cut-out at the upper left corner and an ultra-slim bottom bezel.

On the backside, both smartphones offer vertically stacked triple cameras and a LED flashlight.

For unlocking, the Honor 20s has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while Play 3 needs to depend on passwords, examples, and face-unlock.

The Honor 20s accompanies a 6.26-inch LCD display with a Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Then again, the Honor Play 3 offers a 6.39-inch display with an HD+ (720x1560 pixels) resolution.

Honor 20s and Honor Play 3: Camera features

For photography, both Honor 20s and Play 3 come with triple rear cameras containing a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, a secondary 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the Honor 20s games a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper, and the Honor Play 3 houses an 8MP (f/2.0) shooter.

The Honor 20s is fueled by a Kirin 810 Octa-core processor, combined with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory.

Then again, the Honor Play 3 is energized by a Kirin 710 chipset, combined with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

The Honor 20s is upheld by a 3,750mAh battery, while the Honor Play 3 packs an all the more dominant 4,000mAh battery.


Connectivity options and sensors onboard

The Honor 20s and Honor Play 3 offer all connectivity options including dual nano-SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port (micro-USB on Play 3). Further, the Play 3 gets a 3.5mm audio jack, while the 20s needs one.

Both handsets pricing details

In China, the Honor 20s starts CNY 1,899 for 6GB/128GB variation and CNY 2,199 for the 8GB/128GB model.

Then again, the Honor Play 3 costs CNY 999 for the 4GB/64GB model and CNY 1,299 for both the 4GB/128GB and 6GB/64GB variations.
