Realme 5s India launches
Tech giant Realme has finally launched the Realme 5s handset in India today.
The smartphone comes as a redesigned version of the current Realme 5 and the budget-friendly device starts at Rs. 9,999.
The key features of the smartphone incorporate its 48MP quad rear cameras, gradient design, a physical fingerprint sensor, and a strong 5,000mAh battery.
Realme 5s: Initially (Design and display)
Realme 5s highlights an in-trend waterdrop notched design with an ultra-slim bottom bezel. On the backside, the gradient finished panel with diamond-cut design houses a vertically stacked quad-camera with an LED flashlight and a physical fingerprint scanner.
The Realme 5s sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection for the screen safety.
Realme 5s gets a quad rear camera setup
The quad rear camera setup Realme 5s including a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, alongside an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
For selfies and video calling, it offers a 13MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
The primary camera can record 4K videos @30fps, and the selfie camera bolsters 1080p video recording @30fps.
Realme 5s: Internals
Under the hood, the Realme 5s is fueled by a Snapdragon 665 Octa-core processor, combined with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable memory.
Inside, the handset runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 out-of-the-box and packs a strong 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
What's more, it sports all the connectivity options, for example, dual nano-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm a headphone jack.
Realme 5s: Pricing and launch offers
The Realme 5s starts Rs. 9,999 for the entry-level 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant.
In India, the smartphone will go on sale starting 12 pm on November 29 via Flipkart and Realme.com.
With respect to launch offers, buyers can profit no-cost EMI options and Reliance Jio benefits worth up to Rs. 7,000.
