Redmi Note 8 (3GB RAM) variant launches
Tech giant Xiaomi has introduced an affordable 3GB RAM variation of its Redmi Note 8 smartphone in India which launched recently.
As indicated by 91Mobiles, the new 3GB RAM model, priced at Rs. 9,799, is select for offline outlets and won't be available through online channels.
The smartphone holds the specifications of the standard model.

The Redmi Note 8 accompanies an all-glass body including a waterdrop notched design and a thin bezel on the bottom.
On the backside, the gradient finished glass panel houses a quad-camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner.
The handset sports a 6.3-inch LCD screen with Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the screen.
Redmi Note 8 offers quad rear camera setup
The Redmi Note 8 houses a quad rear camera setup involves a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
On the front, it has a 13MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
Further, the primary camera is fit for recording 4K videos at 30fps, and the selfie snapper underpins 1080p video recording at 30fps.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 8 is fueled by a Snapdragon 665 Octa-core processor, combined with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal memory.
Inside, it runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging feature.
What's more, the handset offers all the connectivity options, for example, dual nano-SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Type-C port, and an audio jack.
Redmi Note 8 3GB/32GB variant price
The Redmi Note 8 new 3GB/32GB variation costs Rs. 9,799, which is Rs. 200 cheaper than the 4GB/64GB model.
Other than that, there is another 6GB/128GB variation which is priced at Rs. 12,999.
