Vivo V17 India launches
Vivo set to launch its new V17 smartphone in India on December 9 and the tech giant also started sending the invitation for the launch event.
According to 91Mobiles, the new phone will be an updated variant of V17 which has launched recently in Russia.
Vivo V17: At a glance (Design and display)
On the Russian variations, the Vivo V17 will highlight a punch-hole design rather than the familiar U-shaped cut-out. But, the backside design will probably stay unaltered with a precious diamond-shaped quad-camera module and gradient design.
The smartphone tipped to offer a 6.38-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and offers an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Vivo V17 to offer a quad-rear camera setup
As far as camera concern, the Vivo V17 is said to sport a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, matched with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
It is probably going to offer a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper featuring supports 1080p video recording @30fps.
Vivo V17: Internals
The new Vivo V17 will have a Snapdragon 665 (Octa-core) processor matched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable capacity.
The handset is probably going to run Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.2 and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
For connectivity, it will offer all the connectivity options, for example, dual SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Type-C port, and an audio jack.
Vivo V17: Pricing
In Russia, the Vivo handset costs RUB 22,990. Meanwhile, there is no official information about the pricing of the Vivo V17 in India.
