Tech giant Huawei is looking for launching a new smartphone, the upcoming phone will include a rotating camera mechanism, the camera module will automatically pop-up and rotate to serve as a front camera for selfies, vlogging, and video calling and a full-screen design.
Although, ASUS 6Z and Samsung Galaxy A80 offered this rotating camera system a few months back.
What we know about patents
As indicated by LetsGoDigital, Huawei filed a design patent in China on January 9 of this year and it was approved on December 17 last week.
This patent has been published in the WIPO Global Design Database, revealing the complete design feature of the upcoming Huawei phone.

As per patent images, the smartphone will come a notch-less, bezel-less design and include a triple rear camera unit with a rotating mechanism. That will enable the triple-lens setup to automatically flip 180-degree and serve as a front camera.
Further, the camera system ought to involve a standard lens, an ultra-wide-edge lens, and a dedicated zoom lens, as per.
As well as the other will offer high-quality selfies and also a versatile perspective (standard, wide, and zoom).

Huawei P Smart Z to debut on this design?
As per gossipy, the Huawei P Smart Z, which was launched in 2021, is expected to debut this rotating camera setup. However, there is a possibility that Huawei's sub-brand Honor will first apply the design to its upcoming smartphone.
