Tech giant Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K30 in China which is an upgrade to the Redmi K20

The key features of the Redmi K30 incorporate its 120Hz display, 64MP main camera, selfie snapper with dual-lens, and 5G support.

The LTE variant of the smartphone will introduce by Xiaomi in India sooner rather than later.

Redmi K30: Design and display

The Redmi K30 highlights an edge-to-edge screen with a small cut-out at the upper right corner to oblige a dual-lens selfie camera - like Samsung Galaxy S10+.

A 6.67-inch LCD display with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution offering a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For unlock, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Redmi K30 packs with 64MP quad rear cameras

The Redmi K30 offers quad rear cameras including a 64MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.

Further, the main camera highlights photography features like HDR, panorama, portrait mode, and supports 4K video recording.

For selfies, a 20MP (f/2.2) main sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor houses the pill-shaped cut-out.

Redmi K30 drawn power from a Snapdragon 765G

The Redmi K30 is controlled by a Snapdragon 765G Octa-core processor matched which comes with  5G connectivity and matched with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage.

The handset runs Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box and packs a strong 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

For connectivity, it offers all the connectivity options including dual nano-SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual-frequency GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also gets all the standard sensors including an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, and e-compass.


Redmi K30: Pricing details

In China, the Redmi K30 costs at CNY 1,999 for the entry-level 6GB/64GB model and goes up to CNY 2599 for the top-end variation with a 12GB/256GB model.

As far as India launches, Xiaomi has additionally introduced an LTE variation which costs CNY 1,599 for the 6GB/64GB model and CNY 2,199 for the top point of-the-line 8GB/256GB.
