Samsung announced the Galaxy A01
Samsung has announced an entry-level smartphone called Galaxy A01 which will hit in the Indian market in early 2020.
The key features of the upcoming Galaxy A01 include an in-trend waterdrop notched design, HD+ display, dual rear cameras, entry-level internals, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A01 highlights an Infinity V-styled waterdrop notched design with a prominent bezel on the bottom.
The rear side of the phone has a polycarbonate panel that houses a vertically stacked dual camera module.
The smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1560 pixels) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. But, the handset doesn't use any fingerprint scanner you can unlock through passwords, patterns, and face-unlock.
Galaxy A01 offers dual rear camera setup
For photography, the dual rear camera setup Galaxy A01 containing a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and a secondary 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
The main camera featuring HDR, panorama, portrait mode, and supports 1080p video recording @30fps.
On the front, the smartphone pack with a 5MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
Galaxy A01: Internals
Under the hood, the Galaxy A01 draws power from an unannounced Octa-core processor, matched with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable memory.
The handset runs on Android 10-based One UI 2 and packs a 3,000mAh battery.
For connectivity, it gets all standard connectivity options like - dual nan-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Galaxy A01 pricing details
Starting now, the company has not announced the pricing of the upcoming Galaxy A01. But, according to the specs, it can hope that the mobile should cost around Rs. 10,000 in India.
